This will be our second Kansas City Local Author Book Fair. Our last one was SUCH a hit we will be adding some amazing features to make the Summer Showcase even better! When signing up as an author here are some things to consider: 

-We are accepting a wide variety of genres and want to have a great mix for the event. 

-There will be an application process that will need to be filled out properly and completely to help with deciding who will be in the event. 

-We are adding a VIP Early Access Ticket which will allow guests to come in early and skip the line. We hope you can offer something unique for people who purchase from your booth during this timeframe that is EXCLUSIVE to the VIP Early Access guests. It can be a sticker, limited edition bookmark, short story, or a special merchandise item. 

-Marketing is a requirement for this event so having a Facebook Page, Social media page, or newsletter you use for your clients will aid in you being a part of this event.

-This is a one-day show so we will have 18 authors for this event. As a guest, you will need to provide your own table (Max of a 4ft table for this event. Can be a 4ft table or card table.), own table cover, and have a way to take cash and online transactions. Since we have a limited number of spots there will be a max of ONE table per author. 

-The applications will go live June 13th and will be open until June 25th. Authors will be notified of acceptance by July 1st and will need to have the booth fee paid by July 5th otherwise they will be passed over. No Exceptions to this. I am announcing this now, so everyone has time to gather the funds for the booth fee if needed for the July 1st date. 

-We will be looking for stores to sponsor this event. We will be offering swag bags at the door again. We will also be upping our marketing! 

-Please share with businesses looking to sponsor this event. We will offer a few levels of sponsorship that will be awesome advertising for them! We will open up sponsorships in July.
